Supported Employment provides persons with developmental disabilities equal opportunity to find meaningful and rewarding employment. Our clients are interviewed to determine the individual's skills, abilities and strengths as well as their own personal interests. By going through this process we are better able to match the needs of the employers with the skills of the right client. Any youth (15-18 year old) or adult with a developmental disability is eligible. This can be initiated by the person with the disability, CLBC, an agency or advocate. Any employer wishing to hire a person with a disability can also contact us.
